Lessons focus on practical playing, technique, rhythm, musical confidence, creativity, and learning songs you genuinely enjoy playing.
 

I teach a wide range of styles including rock, pop, blues, indie, acoustic, alternative and classic guitar-based music. Students can work through structured material, focus on specific techniques, or learn songs and artists they enjoy.

Music theory is included naturally where useful to help students better understand what they're playing without making lessons feel overly academic or intimidating.
 

Lessons are designed to be relaxed, engaging, structured, and enjoyable.
 

Structured lesson blocks are recommended for consistent progress, however pay-as-you-go lessons are also available depending on availability.
 

Guitar lessons form the core of my teaching, with beginner piano lessons offered on a limited basis.
